___________ The Role
We are looking for an Energy Consultant to join our Glasgow team. The role is ideally suited to an individual with a keen interest in the delivery of new-build residential developments.
The preferred candidate will have knowledge of the key factors that impact on building regulation compliance including fabric design, thermal bridging, ventilation and airtightness, heating and hot water solutions, and renewable technology.
Successful candidates will provide support to our compliance team by producing energy assessments, U-value and Psi-value calculations, energy performance certificates and sustainability labels for a wide range of new-build residential projects of varying scale.

___________ Experience
- OCDEA accreditation would be an advantage
- Training will be provided for unqualified candidates
- Good understanding of detailed construction drawings
- Good understanding of SAP and/or SBEM methodology
- Good understanding and experience of Elmhurst Energy's Design SAP software
- Good understanding of U-value and thermal bridging methodology
- Good understanding of Section 6 (Energy) and Section 7 (Sustainability) of the Domestic Technical Handbooks

- Excellent work ethic and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent Autodesk AutoCAD skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and communicate effectively
- Ability to create detailed written reports
- Fluent spoken and written English is essential as is your eligibility to work in the UK
