New Passivhaus Education Project Appointment

We are pleased to be working alongside jmarchitects and AtkinsRéalis on the new Fox Covert Primary School and St Andrew’s RC Primary School campus for The City of Edinburgh Council.

Carbon Futures has been appointed as the Passivhaus Consultant on this exciting development within the local authority’s sustainable education estate.

Creating high-performance buildings for the next generation of pupils demands rigorous energy design from the earliest stages. Our role is to ensure the building is on track for Passivhaus Classic certification, using our PHPP expertise to inform and guide the fabric strategy, airtightness, thermal bridge detailing, heating and ventilation, as the design evolves.
