Third Party Verification isn’t a new concept, but the role of the verifier is often misunderstood.

With the forthcoming 2026/27 update to the Net Zero Public Sector Building Standard (NZPSBS) placing greater emphasis on the verifier role, this upcoming webinar, hosted by Scottish Futures Trust, will explore what the changes mean in practice.

Carbon Futures Director, David MacConnell, will discuss the role of the Third Party Verifier, sharing his experience of supporting public sector projects and why verification is crucial to the successful application of the NZPSBS.

David will also take part in a panel discussion alongside Ingrid Berkeley, Catherine Heslop and Aidan Maguire, drawing on lessons learned from projects including New Thistle Primary School, Park Mains High School Extension and Ardrossan Community Campus.
