______ Project Overview

Anderston Phase 4 & 5 was a large-scale £25 million regeneration project of 206 new-build flats, with a mixed tenure of social rent and mid-market rent for Sanctuary Scotland. Located in Glasgow City Centre, the project was built by CCG (Scotland) Ltd and designed by Collective Architecture and represents the final two phases of a multi-phase masterplan for the regeneration of the Anderston estate.

______ Our Scope

Carbon Futures worked with the design team to develop a cost-effective and practical energy and sustainability strategy for the development, utilising a fabric first approach through the use of CCG OSM’s closed panel timber frame system. Windows, doors, insulation, plasterboard and service battens were pre-installed in the factory resulting in higher quality of installation and reduced waste.

Additional services provided by Carbon Futures included Approved Certifier of Design (Energy) certification, Building Regulation Compliance through the provision of SAP Calculations and provision of Energy Performance Certification & Sustainability Labels.
