______Our first project to feature a fifth generation heat network

Feb 27, 2026 | News

Last year we supported Wheatley Group and CCG (Scotland) Ltd in the delivery of 48 new affordable homes in Milton, Glasgow. This was our first project to benefit from an innovative, fifth-generation heat network.

This low carbon housing development features an innovative ground-source heat pump system by Kensa, which utilises a shared ambient loop. External boreholes within the ground are linked to individual water-to-water heat pumps within each flat to provide space heating and domestic hot water to residents, ensuring the development is future proofed with a zero direct emissions heating system.
