Last Friday marked the official completion of upgrade works at Kelvin Court, Kirkintilloch and it proved to be a day to remember.
Residents and project partners gathered together at the 35-unit housing complex ion Friday 20th June to celebrate the positive impact of this energy-efficiency retrofit project.
Not only has the aesthetic of the building considerably improved, but residents and staff will benefit from improvements in indoor air quality, increased comfort, health and wellbeing and importantly, tenants should see a significant reduction in their energy bills, with savings of up to 50% predicted.
Just a few hours on from the completion event, the Kelvin Court project team were rejoicing again, when the project was crowned ‘Large Scale Project of the Year’ at the Scottish Energy Efficiency Awards.
As Retrofit Designers and Energy Assessors on this deep retrofit project, Carbon Futures is proud to have played an important role in its delivery, and we congratulate the entire project team on this success.
