______ We take your privacy very seriously and understand that you care about how your personal information is used and shared. Please read the following to learn more about how we collect, store, use and disclose information about you when you interact with us, in any manner, via our website and/or through the provision of our services.

Information
When using our website, we collect two types of information from site users; personal data (including, where relevant, names, e-mail addresses, contact telephone number and company name) and statistical data (e.g. site visits, web browser type, operating system type and visitor geography).

Personal Data
This is only captured when provided by you, for example, when you subscribe for updates, contact us through our website, or engage us to provide services.

If you subscribe for updates, our website hub stores your email address in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database. Your mail addresses will only be used to periodically send you emails containing news, information about our services or industry information which we feel is relevant to you. We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s own privacy notice.  You may unsubscribe from our newsletter e-mails at any time using the link contained in the email.

If you contact us through our website using the ‘Contact Us’ page, our website hub stores your enquiry in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database. This database stores the time of your enquiry, the date of your enquiry, your name, email address, telephone number and company name, along with the text associated with your enquiry. This information will only be used to contact you directly regarding your enquiry.

You can request to be deleted from this database at any time by contacting us using the following email: enquiries@carbonfutures.co.uk.

Your e-mail address and contact information will never be made available to another organisation for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

Statistical Data
Whenever you visit our website, we collect limited statistical data using cookies and other similar technologies which may involve saving cookies to your computer. This is purely for the purposes of website analytics and only records the number of site visits, the type of web browser you use, the type of operating system your computer runs and your geographical location. This information does not tell us who you are, and we only use it to monitor the effectiveness of the site.

For further information, please see our Cookie Policy.

How do we share and disclose the information to third parties?
We do not rent or sell your Personal Information to anyone under any circumstances.
We may process your personal information for our legitimate business interests e.g. direct marketing, data analytics and/or enhancing/modifying/improving our services (see ‘Legitimate Interests’ section below).

We do not transfer any information, personal or otherwise, outside of the EEA (European Economic Area).

Under certain circumstances we may be required to disclose your Personal Information in response to valid requests by public authorities such as the Police or security services.

Legitimate Interests
“Legitimate Interests” means the interests of our company in conducting and managing our business to enable us to give you the best service and most secure experience. For example, we have an interest in making sure our marketing is relevant for you, so we may process your information to send you marketing that is tailored to your interests.

When we process your personal information for our legitimate interests, we make sure to consider and balance any potential impact on you (both positive and negative), and your rights under data protection laws. Our legitimate business interests do not automatically override your interests – we will not use your Personal Data for activities where our interests are overridden by the impact on you (unless we have your consent or are otherwise required or permitted to by law).

If you have any concerns you have the right to object to processing that is based on our legitimate interests.

What choices do I have?
You can always opt not to disclose information to us, but keep in mind some information may be needed to register with us or to use our services. You may unsubscribe from our update e-mails at any time using the link contained in the email.
