Net Zero Ready Sheltered Housing for West Dunbartonshire Council Officially Opened

Last week saw the official opening of Willox Park Sheltered Housing Accommodation in Dunbarton.

Phase 1 of this affordable housing development saw the creation of 17 new homes consisting of 14 flats and 3 bungalows within a C-shaped block, formed around an amenity courtyard.

Working collaboratively alongside the project’s design team, Carbon Futures developed an energy strategy to achieve the client’s ambitious brief for a ‘Net Zero Ready’ development, future-proofed against government policy.

This exemplary development was recognised at the 2026 Homes for Scotland Awards on Friday 15th May, when it was crowned winner in the Small Affordable Development of the Year category.
