We are Hiring______
______Passivhaus Consultant
As the impacts of the climate emergency and the fuel crisis become ever more apparent in daily life, the need to design homes and buildings that minimise energy demand has never been more critical. This growing awareness is driving an increase in developments targeting the Certified Passivhaus standard, alongside a rising demand to model non-Passivhaus projects in PHPP to better understand and manage operational energy demand.
Our Certified Passivhaus Consultancy service supports project design teams from early concept through to project completion, ensuring developments achieve Passivhaus Certification in a cost-effective and efficient manner. We provide expert guidance and reassurance at every stage of the Passivhaus compliance process. At present, we are delivering several Certified Passivhaus developments, including a new-build education campus and new-build residential projects totalling over 200+ homes.
We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join the Carbon Futures team, delivering detailed building energy modelling across a wide range of projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on Passivhaus projects at scale within a progressive company that values collaboration and professional development.
The role requires a strong working knowledge of the Passivhaus Planning Package (PHPP), DesignPH and PHribbon, alongside other relevant calculation tools and methodologies. We also regularly undertake TM54 Operational Energy modelling using PHPP for non-Passivhaus projects.
If you are looking for an exciting new challenge, we would love to hear from you.

At Carbon Futures, we are a team of energy and sustainability consultants operating across the UK, dedicated to tackling the climate emergency.
We are passionate about building performance and driven by a commitment to support the decarbonisation of the built environment at every opportunity.
We are data-driven. Our team of industry experts undertake detailed modelling and analysis to optimise building performance and promote best-practice solutions across a wide range of sectors.
