Date Set for Flagship SE-RDA Projects to Commence on Site

Carbon Futures is proud to be part of the design team supporting the South East Regional Delivery Alliance (SE-RDA) with the delivery of two flagship affordable housing projects, now targeted to begin in early 2026.

Originally established in 2020 and known as the Edinburgh Home Demonstrator programme, SE-RDA is an applied research initiative with the aim of developing and implementing a pioneering delivery model for the construction of new, affordable, Net Zero homes in the Edinburgh area.

Today, the initiative has been expanded to include six other local authorities in the South-East region and in 2026 we will see work commence on the first two SE-RDA projects, with 109 much-needed homes being built across two sites in Wallyford, East Lothian and Burdiehouse, Edinburgh.

Carbon Futures has been involved in the original Edinburgh Home Demonstrator Programme since it began in 2020 and supported its Granton Site D1 project.
