Meet the Team
Scott Meadows is a building physicist by background and has a keen interest in all aspects of the built environment, with a particular focus on optimising the energy performance of buildings in order to reduce their running costs and environmental impact.
Prior to joining Carbon Futures, Scott worked at the Building Research Establishment (BRE) as part of their Scottish team where he became adept in areas including energy efficiency, thermal bridging, condensation risk analysis, indoor air quality, post occupancy evaluation (POE), and more.
Scott has also worked at BRE's head office in Watford within the BREEAM team, developing the technical documents, methodologies, and calculation tools for the schemes, as well as supporting the delivery of large, high-profile construction and refurbishment projects which utilised BREEAM.
Scott holds all of the available BREEAM Assessor qualifications and is also an Approved Certifier of Design (Section 6 - Energy) for both Domestic and Non-Domestic Buildings.
