Mosspark Boulevard

Introduction

Mosspark Boulevard was a £5.5 million development of 54 flats, with 34 for social rent by Southside Housing Association and 20 supported accommodation units for elderly tenants of Lorretto Housing, located in Glasgow. Built by CCG (Scotland) Ltd and designed by Mast Architects, the project comprises a mix of one, two and three-bedroom flats and maisonettes and also incorporates a communal roof terrace.

Sustainability

Bronze

The development was designed to achieve Bronze level for sustainability under Section 7 of the Scottish Building Regulations. Silver Aspect 1 & 2 compliance was also achieved in a number of plots through the use of a communal heating system for the supported accommodation.

Remit

Carbon Futures were employed to provide SAP Calculations, Design Certification, Building Regulation Compliance and Energy Performance Certificates. Multiple dwelling compliance was also utilised to optimise compliance.
